Pediatric Speech Pathology - Hammond, LA
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist is needed to provide maternity leave coverage at an elementary school in Hammond, LA. This contract position runs from January 2026 through March 2026, with a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., totaling 37.5 hours per week.
Responsibilities include delivering both direct and indirect speech-language pathology services to students at one elementary campus. The role requires servicing school-aged children and supporting their communication development in alignment with individual education plans. Therapists will focus solely on clinical responsibilities during contracted hours, with no additional duties such as bus duty or parent pickup.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in pediatric and school-based settings
- Familiarity with speech therapy in healthcare and teletherapy environments is a plus
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred
