Speech-Language Pathologist in Stockton, CA

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a California license is sought to provide essential services in an elementary school setting for the 2025-2026 school year. This onsite contract position offers a full-time schedule, working 35 hours per week with a caseload typically limited to no more than 55 students from kindergarten through 5th grade. The role involves conducting assessments, initial evaluations, and comprehensive services, blending direct treatment with evaluation duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer speech and language assessments and conduct initial evaluations
- Deliver direct therapy services and implement individualized treatment plans
- Manage a caseload focused on K-5 students, maintaining compliance with state and professional standards
- Collaborate with educational staff to support student communication needs
Qualifications:
- Valid California license in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Prior school-based experience preferred but not mandatory
- ASHA certification is advantageous but not required
