Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) – Full-Time
Location: Livermore, California

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7.5 hours per day (includes a 30-minute duty-free lunch)
Caseload Cap: 55 students
Duration: Remainder of the 2025–2026 school year
Start Date: Immediate
About the Position
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide full-time, on-site services in Livermore, CA for the remainder of the current school year. This role is fully in-person and supports a student caseload not to exceed 55 students. Services will be delivered across a school-based setting, supporting students’ speech, language, and communication development.

Key Responsibilities
SLP Responsibilities Include:

Conduct speech and language assessments and participate in eligibility determination

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with IEP teams

Provide direct intervention services to students

Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals

Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support generalization of skills

Supervise assigned SLPA(s), if applicable
SLPA Responsibilities Include:

Provide direct therapy services under the supervision of a licensed SLP

Assist with documentation and data collection related to IEP goals

Prepare materials and support activities as directed by supervising SLP

Communicate with team members regarding student progress

Comply with supervision and licensure guidelines as required by California law
Qualifications
For SLP Candidates:
-
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
-
Current California Speech-Language Pathology License and/or California Credential in Language, Speech and Hearing Services
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellows will be considered
For SLPA Candidates:
-
Valid California SLPA license
-
Must work under the supervision of a licensed SLP

Strong communication and organization skills

Prior experience in a school-based setting

Familiarity with IEP processes and school documentation systems

Ability to manage a diverse caseload and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
