A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Live Oak, CA. This contract role runs from ASAP through 5/28/26 and requires an experienced professional with a California SLP license and a valid California Teaching Credential in Special Education (CTC Ed cert). The position involves an itinerant caseload serving multiple school locations, including Spring Valley School, Bangor Elementary School, and Berry Creek Elementary School, necessitating significant travel between sites.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students across multiple schools within the district.
- Assess, plan, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student communication development.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation compliant with district and state requirements.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to overall special education planning.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathology license.
- California Teaching Credential (CTC) in Special Education.
- Prior experience working as an SLP in school settings is highly preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel between multiple school sites.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Location: Live Oak, CA
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, 37.5 to 40 hours per week.
- Onsite presence required at the various school locations.
