School Speech Language Pathologist - Arvada, Colorado
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within an early childhood school setting in the Arvada, CO area. This contract role spans the current school year, starting as soon as possible through June, and focuses exclusively on assessment duties for Pre-K students. The position averages approximately 11.25 hours per week, equating to about 1.5 days weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for early childhood students
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to interpret assessment results
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district guidelines
- Participate in workload management processes as required
Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching license, or in the process of obtaining one
- ASHA certification preferred; Candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) will be considered
- No Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) license required
- Experience assessing a variety of speech and language disabilities across early childhood age ranges
- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Early childhood school in the Arvada, Colorado area
- Approximately 30 minutes northwest of Denver
