School Speech Language Pathologist - Aurora, Colorado
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) is needed to support K-8 students in a school setting located in Thornton, CO. This is a contract position running from December 1, 2025, through May 29, 2026, with a typical workweek of 37.5 to 40 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language services to a caseload of 35-40 students, including 20-25 mild/moderate and 10-15 moderate/severe cases.
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and referrals as needed to support individual student needs.
- Attend and contribute to IEP and 504 meetings, collaborating with educators and families.
- Offer consultation services to staff and support delivery of intervention plans.
Qualifications:
- Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification.
- Current Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP CCC).
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize multiple responsibilities.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Location: Thornton, CO (K-8 school setting)
