School Speech and Language Pathologist | Littleton, Colorado
A contract position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting K-12 students in a dynamic school setting located in Littleton, CO. This role focuses on providing specialized speech and language services to students across elementary and middle school grade levels, offering a valuable opportunity to impact student communication development over the course of the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop personalized intervention plans for students.
- Deliver direct therapy services in individual or group settings aligned with students’ educational goals.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote effective communication strategies.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines.
- Participate in meetings and professional development to stay current on best practices and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification and licensure (pending CDE certifications considered).
- Experience providing SLP services within school settings preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric communication disorders and intervention methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to manage caseload and prioritize services effectively in accordance with contract requirements.
Location: Littleton, Colorado
Role Type: Part-time, approximately 2.5 days per week contract for the current school year. Positions are available at the K-5 and middle school levels.
