A K-12 School in Arvada, CO is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract position during the current school year (CSY). This opportunity offers part-time work, approximately 2.5 days per week, supporting students from kindergarten through middle school. The role focuses on delivering speech-language services in an educational setting and requires strong expertise in school-based speech therapy.
Key Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Experience working as an SLP in K-12 school environments
- Pending or active certification from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) accepted
- Proven ability to manage caseloads in both elementary (K-5) and middle school settings
- Familiarity with educational speech assessment, intervention, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students
- Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and implement evidence-based intervention plans
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in meetings and contribute to a supportive learning environment
