Speech Therapist in Arvada, CO
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in the Denver area, specifically serving Adams 12 Five Star Schools. This contract opportunity runs from January 1, 2026, through May 22, 2026, with starting assignments at the Bilingual Consultation Team & Malley Drive Elementary (Preschool Program) and North Star Elementary. The role requires on-site presence, with no remote or hybrid arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language pathology services to students in a K-12 school setting
- Support bilingual students through consultation and direct therapy in preschool and elementary programs
- Conduct Child Find evaluations to identify and support students with communication difficulties
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student communication goals
- Manage caseload effectively with an emphasis on bilingual services where applicable
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure
- Valid Colorado Department of Education certification
- Experience or willingness to work within bilingual settings preferred
- Open to Clinical Fellowship candidates; SLPA candidates are not eligible
- Ability to commit to a full-time schedule (35+ hours per week)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in an educational context
Location:
- Denver metropolitan area, working onsite exclusively at assigned schools
