Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current, valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Proven experience working with school-aged children, particularly across multiple grade bands (K-5, 6-8, 9-12)
- Demonstrated ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities, with a commitment to timely and comprehensive reporting
- Adaptability to new settings and willingness to work in both onsite and travel capacities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services within school settings
- Conduct individualized assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student communication goals
- Maintain clear and confidential records of student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student educational plans
- Educate families and staff on strategies to reinforce speech and language goals in the classroom and at home
