Key Qualifications:

  • Hold a current, valid state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Proven experience working with school-aged children, particularly across multiple grade bands (K-5, 6-8, 9-12)
  • Demonstrated ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of speech and language disorders
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff
  • Excellent organizational and documentation abilities, with a commitment to timely and comprehensive reporting
  • Adaptability to new settings and willingness to work in both onsite and travel capacities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy services within school settings
  • Conduct individualized assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support student communication goals
  • Maintain clear and confidential records of student progress, adjusting interventions as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student educational plans
  • Educate families and staff on strategies to reinforce speech and language goals in the classroom and at home
