About the Speech-Language Pathologist Role

As a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in Little Rock, AR, you will assess and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders. You will collaborate with teachers and families to support IEP development and implementation. Responsibilities include therapy delivery, documentation, and progress reporting. This role emphasizes functional communication and educational access.

Requirements for the Role

Candidates must meet Arkansas education, certification, and licensure requirements, including:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Active Arkansas Speech-Language Pathology license

  • Arkansas Department of Education (ADE) School SLP certification or eligibility

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

  • Experience providing services in school settings preferred

  • Completion of Arkansas school district background check requirements
