Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Special Education Teachers for full-time opportunities with partner school districts in the Little Rock, AR area. Qualifications & Requirements:
All applicants must meet the following local and state requirements to be considered:

  • Valid Arkansas teaching license with Special Education endorsement (K–12 or appropriate grade level)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)

  • Completion of a state-approved teacher preparation program

  • Passing scores on required Arkansas Praxis exams

  • Clear background check and fingerprint clearance through the Arkansas Department of Education

  • Prior experience working with students with disabilities in a school setting preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student’s unique needs

  • Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress

  • Provide direct instruction and/or resource support in accordance with IEP goals

  • Adapt curriculum materials and instructional techniques to meet the needs of students

  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress regularly

  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff meetings, and professional development sessions

  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to special education services
