School Based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Job - Lisle, IL
There is a full-time contract opportunity for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Lisle, LA. Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing qualified professionals for this school-based role.
To be considered, candidates must meet all requirements established by Louisiana state and local regulations. Previous experience supporting special education students and families is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities may include:
• Conduct evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication needs of students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or small-group settings
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary staff to support communication development
• Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and compliance documentation as required by district and state standards
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute recommendations for student goals and accommodations
• Support the use of AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) devices and strategies where appropriate
• Offer staff training and consultation on communication techniques and interventions
