Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time | Lincoln, NE

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time position with school districts in the Lincoln, NE area. This opportunity is for the upcoming 2025–2026 school year, with contract dates from August 12, 2025 through May 21, 2026.

This role will focus on a PreK caseload (ages 3–5) in preschool classroom settings. The initial caseload will begin with approximately 20–30 students, with growth expected to reach 50–60 students throughout the school year.

Position Details:

  • Location: Lincoln, NE

  • Setting: Preschool classrooms

  • Caseload: PreK (ages 3–5); expected to grow from ~30 to ~60 students

  • Schedule: Full-time, on-site

  • Contract Dates: August 12, 2025 – May 21, 2026

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all Nebraska state and local requirements, including:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

  • Current Nebraska SLP license issued by the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS)

  • Teaching certificate or endorsement from the Nebraska Department of Education (NDE), or eligibility to obtain

  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

  • Experience with early childhood populations is highly valued

  • Must successfully complete background check and district onboarding

Typical Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and identify speech and language needs in preschool-aged students

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate, individualized treatment plans and IEPs

  • Provide direct therapy services in classroom and individual settings

  • Collaborate with early childhood educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

  • Track student progress and maintain compliance documentation

  • Support communication development through interactive and play-based approaches

  • Participate in IEP meetings and planning for transitioning students
