Travel School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Liberty, Missouri
A fully qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) and school-based experience is needed for a travel assignment in Liberty, MO. This full-time role offers an opportunity to provide essential speech and language services to elementary students with high needs in a school setting.
Location:
Liberty, Missouri (onsite assignment)
Assignment Duration:
- Begin between May 6 and May 13 through May 22 (end of current school year)
- Summer Extended School Year (ESY) from June 1 to June 30 (excluding June 19 holiday)
- Return for coverage at the start of the 2026–27 school year in August (exact dates pending district calendar finalization)
Hours:
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech therapy services to elementary students with significant communication challenges
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings as required
- Ensure compliance with district policies and state regulations regarding special education and speech services
Qualifications:
- Valid SLP license with Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Previous experience working in a school-based setting, preferably with elementary students
- Ability to manage a caseload of students with high needs effectively
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Flexibility to provide onsite coverage in a travel assignment format
