School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Liberty, Missouri

Make a significant impact in the educational setting by supporting students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a high school environment. This contract role begins August 25, 2026, and extends through May 27, 2027, offering the chance to shape student communication growth across the academic year. Embrace an engaging daily schedule from 9:00am to 4:40pm, Monday through Friday, and work exclusively onsite within a collaborative and student-centered environment.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active and valid SLP license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred
- Experience providing SLP services in a school-based environment
- Strong ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Professional, compassionate, and responsive to student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to students at the high school level
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for students with a variety of speech, language, voice, and fluency challenges
- Collaborate regularly with teachers and educational staff to support student IEP goals
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings and parent conferences as needed
- Offer education and resources to staff and families regarding speech and language development
