This position focuses on delivering speech-language pathology services to elementary students ranging from 4K to 4th grade in a school setting. The caseload includes a combination of general education students requiring support in articulation and language, as well as students needing moderate to significant assistance within special education. This role is based onsite in Lexington, SC, during the full remainder of the 2025–2026 school year, working 37.5 hours per week.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
  • Developing individualized goals tailored to each student's needs
  • Leading and actively participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
  • Providing direct therapy services to support speech and language development
  • Maintaining thorough documentation and progress reports in compliance with school requirements

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • South Carolina Educator Certification is required
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in school-based settings, including familiarity with articulation, language disorders, and special education support
  • Strong skills in teletherapy and pediatric speech-language pathology are a plus
  • Candidates currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with relevant school or healthcare experience may also be considered
