A rewarding opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in a K-12 school setting located in La Plata, MD. This contract position spans the current school year, offering a meaningful role supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The SLP will be responsible for delivering specialized speech and language assessments and interventions to a diverse caseload of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy to students across K-12.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in progress monitoring.
- Support communication skills development to foster academic and social success.
Qualifications:
- Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Location: La Plata, MD (School site to be determined)
Work Schedule: Approximately 7:15 AM to 3:00 PM
Contract Duration: ASAP to June 9th, aligned with the current school year calendar
