School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Lexington, North Carolina

You’ll support students across East and Southern areas of the district for the 2026–2027 academic year, beginning this August and continuing through June.
As a valued SLP, you’ll collaborate closely with educational teams and families to deliver high-quality speech and language services within a diverse caseload (up to 35 students). District supervision is available for SLP-CFs, ensuring a strong foundation and successful experience.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active North Carolina SLP license required
- CCC credential or Clinical Fellowship (CF) accepted (supervision provided)
- Prior school-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Experience or interest in working with Autism (AU) and students with low cognitive disabilities
- Flexible, positive, and collaborative clinical approach
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy for students with varying needs in a K–12 setting
- Complete assessments, develop treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student success
- Maintain accurate records and progress documentation per district guidelines
- Adapt to individual caseload preferences; details will be shared during interviews
