Teletherapy SLP Opening - Lexington Kentucky Schools
VocoVision connects speech-language pathologists with virtual opportunities serving students across Kentucky... our platform supports SLPs in delivering effective therapy services remotely while maintaining the quality and personal connection that defines excellent speech-language intervention.
We're hiring for a virtual SLP position serving 50-60 students in grades K-5, this is a 35-hour weekly commitment providing speech and language services through secure video platforms! Your caseload will include students working on articulation goals, expressive and receptive language development, phonological processes, social communication skills and fluency. The remote format allows for creative use of digital resources and interactive activities that engage students effectively.
Day to day you'll conduct speech-language screenings and comprehensive evaluations to identify areas of need and establish baseline performance levels. Treatment planning involves creating measurable IEP goals and designing therapy activities that address individual student objectives while keeping sessions engaging and motivating!! You'll deliver a mix of individual and small group therapy sessions, typically 30 minutes each, using evidence-based intervention techniques.
Data collection happens during every session to track student progress and inform treatment decisions... you'll analyze trends, adjust interventions as needed, and prepare progress reports for IEP teams and families. Consultation with classroom teachers helps ensure carryover of communication skills into academic settings. You'll also provide recommendations for accommodations and modifications to support students' access to curriculum.
Parent collaboration includes regular communication about therapy goals, progress updates, and home practice suggestions. IEP meetings require your participation to contribute assessment results, present progress data, and help develop appropriate goals for upcoming IEP periods.
