Speech-Language Pathologist in Plano, TX

Providing specialized speech-language pathology services within an elementary school setting, this role focuses on supporting students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Texas SLP license and possess experience working as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), preferably with CCC certification. This contract position offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week across five days, ensuring consistent support throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) for students requiring speech and language intervention.
- Implement therapy strategies tailored to address speech, language, and communication challenges in the K-12 population.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate actively in meetings and contribute to the development of effective communication strategies within the school community.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license is required.
- Experience in school-based speech-language pathology services.
- CCC certification is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work efficiently within a structured educational environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
