Professional Speech-Language Pathologists are sought for full-time, onsite positions within a K-12 school district in Lewisville, TX. These contract roles cover the current school year, providing critical speech therapy services to diverse student populations across multiple campuses. Immediate placements are needed to fill maternity leave coverage and ongoing student support roles.
Locations and Caseloads:
- Old Settlers Elementary & Southridge Elementary: Serving approximately 48 students in grades K-5, covering maternity leave through March 31.
- Durham Middle School: Managing a caseload of 65 students with services required through May 22.
- Hebron High School/Hebron 9: Supporting 85 students, position available through May 22.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech-language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with educational and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development as needed.
Qualifications:
- Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Preferred certification: SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
- Candidates completing Clinical Fellowship (CF) must have supervision arranged independently prior to start; supervision will not be provided onsite.
- Experience working within school settings preferred, with the ability to service assigned campuses based on location.
