Position Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our educational team in Lewiston, Maine (ZIP 04240). This role offers the opportunity to provide essential communication services to students across multiple grade levels in a supportive and collaborative school environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct speech and language evaluations, screenings, and assessments.

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet student goals.

Provide direct speech-language therapy in individual and group settings.
-
Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress.

Maintain accurate documentation of services and student outcomes in compliance with state and federal regulations.
-
Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility discussions, and team collaborations.

Offer training and consultation to school staff and families on communication strategies.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.

Valid Maine state licensure or eligibility to obtain before start date.

ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows welcome to apply.

Knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, and school-based speech therapy practices.

Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in school or pediatric settings.

Bilingual or multilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Familiarity with AAC technology and teletherapy platforms.
