Position Overview:
Marshall County Schools is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide part-time services at Westhills Elementary School in Lewisburg, TN for the second half of the 2025–2026 school year. This is a temporary assignment running from January 5 through May 22, 2026, with an estimated 20–25 hours per week.
The selected SLP will be responsible for a caseload of approximately 40 students, ages 4–6, all located at a single school site. The role includes direct service delivery, managing IEP responsibilities, and serving as case manager for a subset of students. While preference is given to candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP), Clinical Fellows (CFYs) will also be considered if support can be arranged.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs.

Serve as case manager for approximately 10 students receiving direct SLP services.

Update Present Levels of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFPs) and develop annual goals for related services students.

Participate in IEP meetings as needed.

Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations as required by timelines.

Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services provided.
Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.

Valid Tennessee SLP license (or eligibility to obtain one prior to start date).

CCC-SLP preferred; CFs may be considered based on supervisory capacity.

Experience working with preschool and early elementary-aged students is preferred.

Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
