Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Lewis Center, OH
This opportunity seeks a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support early childhood development in a school setting. The position is based in Lewis Center, OH, and focuses on working with a PreK caseload within a single location. The role offers a contract for the current school year (CSY), beginning at the end of February and continuing through the end of the school year (EOSY).
Responsibilities include providing individualized speech and language support to preschool-aged children, conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with educators and families to promote effective communication skills. You will also document progress and participate in team meetings to ensure the best outcomes for each student.
The schedule is flexible, requiring three days per week with the candidate selecting which days to work, except for Mondays, which are not available.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP - CFY)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC)
- Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology, particularly in early childhood settings
- Familiarity with school-based therapy and related documentation requirements
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with families and educational staff
