Early Childhood Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Georgetown, DE
This position offers a rewarding opportunity to provide specialized speech-language therapy services within an early childhood educational setting. Working full time (35 hours per week) with the option for part-time consideration, the role supports early intervention strategies for young students starting ASAP through June 26, 2026.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering speech-language therapy addressing assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language skills, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and receptive and expressive language delays.
- Performing diagnostic and evaluation testing to assess student needs.
- Writing clear, comprehensive reports based on assessments and observations.
- Working comfortably with early intervention students.
- Developing and maintaining Individualized Education Program (IEP) objectives.
- Collaborating and communicating effectively with parents and team members to monitor student progress and tailor support.
Qualifications:
- Must hold or be qualified to hold a Delaware state speech-language pathology license.
- Experience with moderate to severe student populations is a valuable asset.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility and problem-solving skills to adapt to the needs of students and the educational environment.
