Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist in Levittown, PA
A dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with experience in school settings is needed to support K-8 students at an elementary school in Levittown, PA. This contract role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive district environment, focused on providing targeted speech and language services to help students achieve their communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to K-8 students.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement IEPs.
- Conduct assessments, document progress, and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Utilize evidence-based practices in therapy sessions.
- Maintain compliance with district and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Must hold a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Previous experience working in public schools is required; familiarity with Philadelphia school systems is preferred.
- Ability to manage a caseload at a single site within an elementary school setting.
- Comfortable providing services to a diverse student population from kindergarten through eighth grade.
- No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) or Clinical Fellows (CF) will be considered for this role.
