Full-Time Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist – Leonardtown, MD

Blazer Jobs is now conducting interviews for a full-time Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologist position in collaboration with school districts in the Leonardtown, MD area. We are seeking professionals with a strong background in early intervention who are committed to providing high-quality services to young learners.

Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet all the following local and state requirements to be considered:

  • Hold a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology

  • Possess a Maryland State License issued by the Maryland Board of Audiologists, Hearing Aid Dispensers & Speech-Language Pathologists

  • Hold a current Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) certification for Speech-Language Pathologists

  • Complete and pass a criminal background check and child abuse clearance in accordance with Maryland state law

  • Provide proof of recent TB testing or screening

  • Have documented experience in early intervention speech-language pathology

Please note: Applicants who do not meet all of the listed requirements will not be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities
Typical duties for this Early Intervention SLP role may include:

  • Conducting assessments to determine speech and language development needs

  • Creating and implementing Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs)

  • Providing therapy services to infants and toddlers in home or school settings

  • Collaborating with families, caregivers, and other service providers to support developmental goals

  • Maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports

  • Participating in team meetings and professional development sessions
