Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for Illinois
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF) and new graduates will also be considered
  • Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or educational speech therapy settings
  • Familiarity with sensory integration techniques or prior work with school-aged children, including goal-setting and progress documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to elementary-aged students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ academic and social development
  • Maintain clear, accurate records of evaluations, goals, and ongoing progress for assigned students
  • Participate in school meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and promote effective communication strategies within the school community
