Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Active state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for Illinois
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF) and new graduates will also be considered
- Previous experience in pediatric, school-based, or educational speech therapy settings
- Familiarity with sensory integration techniques or prior work with school-aged children, including goal-setting and progress documentation
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and consultative services to elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s unique needs
- Collaborate with educators and families to support students’ academic and social development
- Maintain clear, accurate records of evaluations, goals, and ongoing progress for assigned students
- Participate in school meetings, contribute to multidisciplinary teams, and promote effective communication strategies within the school community
