Speech and Language Pathologist in Lehigh Acres, FL
A full-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 setting located in Lehigh Acres, FL. Multiple assignments are open across several school locations, primarily within the East Zone area, providing an opportunity to work with diverse student populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language evaluation and therapy services to students in grades K-12.
- Develop individual education plans (IEPs) and collaborate with educators and families to support student progress.
- Manage caseloads that vary depending on assigned school sites.
- Supervise Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) if applicable.
- Maintain accurate records and demonstrate compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Valid Florida teacher certification and/or licensure in speech-language pathology.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) or Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) status preferred.
- Eligible candidates with Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) certification may be considered if supervision by an SLP is available.
- Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) is desirable.
Location and Schedule:
- Positions are located in multiple schools in Lehigh Acres and the surrounding Fort Myers area.
- Full-time hours: 37.5 per week, Monday through Friday.
- Part-time arrangements may be considered.
- On-site work required.
