SLP Teletherapist for Special Education Teams Virginia
We are seeking a Remote SLP Teletherapist to join virtual special education teams across Virginia. In this role, you'll act as both a therapist and a team collaborator, supporting students with IEPs through direct services and strategic consultation. This role emphasizes coordination, compliance, and professional communication.
Responsibilities:

Provide direct virtual therapy per student IEPs

Conduct re-evaluations and update speech goals

Consult with teachers on classroom speech supports

Participate in MDT and IEP meetings

Support eligibility determination through data collection

Develop generalization strategies across settings
-
Assist with behavioral plans involving communication

Document progress per school policy
-
Adhere to district reporting schedules
-
Communicate with team leads and administrators
-
Maintain ethical telepractice standards

VOCOVISION Requirements
· Must have a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
· Contractors must provide your their own liability insurance
· Comfortable being an independent contractor (1099)
· Home computer with high internet speed
· Passed basic tech screening
Interview Process:
- 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Therapy Recruiter
- 20-30 minute Virtual Interview with the School District
- Offer is typically within 24-48 hours of the virtual interview
