Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Pediatric Focus
Location: Leesburg, Virginia
Schedule: Full-Time, 30-40 hours per week
Caseload: Ages 2-12, varying levels of disabilities, with a primary focus on Early Intervention
Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist seeking a rewarding opportunity to support the communication development of children? We are actively searching for a full-time SLP to join our team in vibrant Leesburg, Virginia! This role offers the chance to work with a diverse pediatric caseload, with a strong emphasis on early intervention.

About the Role: You will be working with children aged 2-12, addressing a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs. While the caseload includes elementary-aged children, a significant portion of your work will involve early intervention services, helping our youngest learners build foundational communication skills crucial for their future success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for children aged 2-12.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and evidence-based practices.
- Provide direct one-on-one and/or group therapy sessions to address articulation, phonology, receptive/expressive language, fluency, voice, social communication, and feeding/swallowing (if applicable to your scope of practice).
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and client records.
- Educate families on strategies to support communication development at home.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current and valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license OR eligibility for a Virginia provisional license as a Clinical Fellow (CF).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is preferred for experienced SLPs.
- For Clinical Fellows (CFs): Demonstrated academic excellence and a strong desire to learn and develop clinical skills under supervision.
- Experience with pediatric populations, particularly Early Intervention, is highly preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and intervention skills across various communication disorders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Passion for working with children and supporting their developmental journey.
