Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized speech and language therapy to early childhood students, focusing on those with autism spectrum disorder.
- Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to each student’s unique needs.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Utilize AAC devices to enhance communication abilities as appropriate.
- Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with program standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Missouri Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure.
- Clinical Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in school-based or early childhood settings.
- Familiarity with AAC technology and strategies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with children, families, and staff.
Position Details:
- Location: Lees Summit, Missouri.
- Contract duration: ASAP through May 28th (end of school year).
- Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
- Onsite presence required for hands-on support with young students.
- Interview conducted via Zoom.
