A rewarding opportunity is available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to support early childhood students within an elementary school setting. This position is located in the Lees Summit area, Missouri, providing essential therapy services to young learners. The role is a contract assignment lasting through the current school year until May 29, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy services to an early childhood caseload of approximately 50-60 students.
- Focus primarily on direct therapy sessions without conducting evaluations.
- Collaborate with the school team to potentially adjust caseloads and support broader SLP needs.
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy progress and student outcomes.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized therapy plans.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), preferably holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working with children in a school setting, particularly in early childhood education.
- Ability to manage a full caseload efficiently while providing high-quality therapy.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to working with educators and families.
- Flexibility to work onsite in Lees Summit, MO.
Additional Information:
- This is a full-time, onsite contract position, averaging 35 hours per week.
- The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through the end of May 2026.
