The position is part of a dynamic speech team consisting of three SLP professionals, allowing you to share caseload responsibilities and contribute to the development of individualized plans for students across various age groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to K-12 students with a range of communication disorders.
- Collaborate with a team of SLPs and educational staff to design and implement comprehensive intervention plans.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies based on ongoing assessments.
- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders regarding student development and needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all licensing and school district requirements.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience in school-based speech therapy settings.
- Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to manage a caseload of students with significant and varied speech and language needs.
