Pediatric School Speech and Language Pathologist | Taylor, Texas
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in K-12 schools located in Taylor, TX, with additional positions near Circleville and Waterloo, TX. This contract role is designed for candidates holding a Texas SLP license and school credentials, ideally with experience in pediatric or school-based settings.
Ideal candidates will have a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or be completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), with proficiency in working with AAC devices and supporting Low or Non-Verbal students highly preferred. Previous experience in school environments or pediatric healthcare enhances suitability for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized plans for students
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student communication goals
- Administer therapy sessions tailored to student needs, including AAC usage
- Maintain accurate documentation to monitor progress and compliance
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Texas SLP license and valid school credentials required
- CCC or CFY status strongly preferred
- Background working with AAC devices and Low/Non-Verbal students highly valued
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience beneficial
