League City Schools - Full-Time SLP Positions | Travel & Local Contracts

Pay Range: $40–$60+/hour (based on experience and employment path)
Blazer Jobs is currently hiring a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support a school district in the League City, Texas area. This full-time role is available to both local SLPs interested in consistent, school-year placement and travel clinicians seeking flexible contracts with competitive pay.
Position Overview:
As a school-based SLP, you will support students across K–12 with speech, language, communication, and social-pragmatic challenges. You’ll collaborate with educators and support staff to conduct assessments, develop IEPs, provide therapy, and track student progress.
Employment Options:
1. Local Path (W-2 through Blazer Jobs):

Full school-year assignment (August–May)

Weekly pay: $40–$50/hour, based on experience and certifications

2. Travel Path (W-2 with Perks or 1099):

Flexible short-term contracts (4–12 weeks or semester-based)

Weekly pay: $50–$60+/hour, depending on travel status and experience

Weekly gross: $1,800–$2,300, including eligible tax-free stipends

Housing assistance, per diem, and mileage/travel reimbursement available

Multistate licensure and credentialing support provided

Designed for clinicians who want higher pay, flexible timelines, and variety in placements
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct therapy to students individually and in small groups

Complete comprehensive speech-language assessments and evaluations
-
Participate in eligibility meetings and develop compliant IEPs

Maintain progress reports and service documentation

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
Requirements:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Active Texas SLP License (or eligibility to obtain)

ASHA CCC-SLP strongly preferred; CFs with strong clinical backgrounds will be considered

Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is a plus

Must pass background and fingerprinting checks
