Role Overview – What You’ll Do
-
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to K–12 students
-
Conduct evaluations, develop IEPs, and create individualized treatment plans
-
Deliver therapy in both one-on-one and group settings
-
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to foster communication growth

Participate in IEP meetings and ensure compliance with all district, state, and federal standards

Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and services
Qualifications & Certifications (Texas Requirements)

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
-
Active license from the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology

Texas Education Agency (TEA) certification may be required per district guidelines
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred

Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
