Your Impact as a School-Based SLP
As a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school setting, you'll assess and treat students with a wide range of communication disorders, from language delays to speech sound production issues. You’ll work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs), provide direct and consultative services, and monitor each student’s progress. Your role empowers students to improve communication skills essential for both academic success and social engagement.
Required Qualifications – Texas
To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following Texas-specific requirements:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Current Texas SLP License issued by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR)

Texas State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) credentials may be required depending on district
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows will also be considered

Must pass school district fingerprinting and background checks
