Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time | Lawrence, KS

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must meet all Kansas state and local requirements, including:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
-
Valid Kansas SLP license issued by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS)
-
Valid Professional or Conditional Speech-Language Pathologist License
-
Certification or eligibility through the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) for school-based SLPs
-
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
-
Experience working in early childhood or school-based settings is highly valued
-
Successful completion of background check and district onboarding
Typical Responsibilities:

Evaluate and identify speech and language needs of early childhood students
-
Develop and implement IEPs with measurable communication goals
-
Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions in classroom settings
-
Collaborate with classroom staff, parents, and interdisciplinary teams
-
Supervise and support SLPAs as appropriate
-
Maintain compliance with documentation and reporting requirements
-
Participate in IEP meetings and professional development
