Speech and Language Pathologist in North Las Vegas, NV
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available supporting K-12 schools in the North Las Vegas, NV area within the Clark County School District. This full-time contract role offers direct, in-person service to students with varying caseloads and age groups depending on specific assignments, requiring candidates with strong clinical skills in school-based speech-language pathology.
Location: North Las Vegas, NV (Clark County School District)
Duration: Current School Year (CSY) through May 22, 2026
Schedule: Full-time, onsite only—no hybrid or remote options available
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to K-12 students according to individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student communication needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district requirements
- Participate in evaluations, screenings, and intervention planning as necessary
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) required
- Active Nevada DOE Certification and Nevada SLP License
- SLP-Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF) considered, though candidates with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience working in school settings strongly preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus
Additional Details:
- Caseloads and specific school assignments vary based on district needs
- Full-time immediate availability required
- The district conducts all interviews directly; prescreen interviews with the agency occur first to assess suitability
- Fingerprinting and credentialing will be coordinated by the district upon hire
