A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for K-12 school assignments in the Henderson, NV area. This contract role runs through the current school year and involves working on-site with no remote or hybrid options available. Assignments and caseloads will vary by location within the district, serving students across varying age groups in the Las Vegas area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborate with educators and families to optimize student communication development
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and implement treatment plans
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in accordance with district policies
- Participate in district-led interviews and credentialing processes as required
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Active Nevada Department of Education certification and SLP license
- SLP Clinical Fellowship completion preferred; candidates with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) highly preferred
- Immediate full-time availability is essential
- Experience working in school settings is beneficial
- Bilingual skills are a plus

- Fingerprinting and background checks will be coordinated by the district
