This part-time position offers an opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services to a diverse K-12 student population in North Las Vegas, NV. Working in a school setting, the role focuses on delivering in-person support to approximately 40 students, helping them improve their communication skills and achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments for students within K-12 grades.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain detailed records of student performance and therapy sessions.
- Participate in school meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team efforts.
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) certification, ideally Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working in pediatric school settings preferred.
- Ability to effectively treat and engage students across K-12 grades.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate within a multidisciplinary educational environment.
- Commitment to part-time schedule with in-person presence in North Las Vegas, NV.
