School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - North Las Vegas, Nevada
This opportunity is for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to work within a K-12 educational setting in North Las Vegas, NV. The role is a contract position extending through the current school year, with an anticipated start date as soon as possible and continuing through May 22, 2026. This position requires full onsite presence; virtual or hybrid work arrangements will not be considered.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech-language pathology services to students across various grade levels, with specific caseloads and age assignments to be determined based on the school's needs.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conducting assessments, therapy sessions, and progress evaluations in compliance with district policies.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting to support student growth and compliance.
Qualifications:
- Active Nevada Department of Education certification.
- Current Nevada Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Experience working with school-aged children within the K-12 range is highly desirable.
- Ability to work full-time is preferred; part-time options may be available depending on assignment.
The position is based exclusively onsite within the Clark County School District. Hours will vary by assignment, with the intent to offer full-time hours where possible. The number of assigned schools and caseload specifics will vary.
