Key Responsibilities:

- Utilize or develop skills in augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) as part of therapy plans.
- Maintain compliance with state licensure and education department certification requirements.
- Engage with the school community to promote student communication development.
Qualifications:
- Valid New Mexico state SLP license is required; applicants must have already applied if not yet licensed.
- PED certification through the New Mexico Department of Education by the start date, or ability to work while certification is pending.
- Experience or willingness to learn AAC strategies is preferred.
- Bilingual skills are an asset but not mandatory due to existing bilingual staff.
- Commitment to on-site work; full-time hours preferred, with consideration for part-time.
