Join our dynamic team of remote Speech Language Pathologists providing essential communication services to students across Michigan school districts. We're expanding our virtual therapy program and seeking experienced clinicians ready to make an impact through innovative teletherapy delivery.
Role Details
This full-time opportunity involves 35-40 hours weekly, serving elementary and middle school students with diverse communication needs. Your caseload will include 40-50 students requiring services ranging from articulation support to complex language intervention. Virtual service delivery allows you to reach students who might otherwise face barriers to consistent therapy access.
Student Population
You'll work with students presenting various communication challenges including speech sound disorders, language delays, stuttering, and social communication difficulties. Many students benefit from the focused, distraction-reduced environment that virtual therapy provides, leading to accelerated progress and improved outcomes.
Primary Duties
- Perform comprehensive speech-language assessments
- Create engaging virtual therapy sessions using interactive materials
- Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Attend virtual IEP and team meetings
- Provide consultation and training to school personnel
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
Essential Qualifications
- Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current ASHA CCC-SLP certification
- Valid Michigan speech-language pathology license
- Minimum 2 years school setting experience
- Familiarity with virtual therapy best practices
- Proficiency with educational technology platforms
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
