Pediatric School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - Norristown, Pennsylvania

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a school setting located in Norristown, PA. This contract position begins ASAP and runs through May 2026, offering the chance to work Monday through Friday. Part-time arrangements may be accommodated depending on candidate availability.
The role involves providing therapy services to approximately 35-40 students ranging from kindergarten through 8th grade. This is an ideal position for a clinician with a background in pediatrics and school-based speech-language pathology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to K-8 students with diverse communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluations and progress reports
Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid SLP license or certification
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred but not required
- Certified or eligible for certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA CCC-SLP)
- Experience working in pediatric settings, especially schools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and collaborate with staff
Location: Norristown, PA
Schedule: Monday through Friday, full-time preferred; part-time possible
Duration: Immediate start to May 2026
Student Population: 35-40 students, kindergarten to 8th grade
