Qualifications & Requirements:
Applicants must meet all South Carolina state and local requirements, including:

Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
-
Active South Carolina SLP License issued by the South Carolina Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
-
South Carolina Department of Education certification as a Speech-Language Therapist (when working in public schools)
-
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred; CFY candidates may be considered
-
Completion of all required background checks and fingerprinting
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluate speech, language, and communication disorders
-
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
-
Provide individual and group therapy services to students
-
Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support students' communication goals
-
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
-
Participate in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and continuing education as needed
