Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist in Newark, OH
A certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide onsite services in a K-12 educational setting in Newark, OH. This contract opportunity is available for the current school year (CSY) with a start date as soon as possible and continues through the end of the school year. Both full-time and part-time candidates are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language services to students ranging from Pre-K through 12th grade, addressing a variety of communication disorders.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate caseload documentation using a caseload calculator aligned with scheduled working hours.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches supporting student success.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within school and healthcare settings.
- Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of school-based speech therapy practices and protocols.
