A dynamic opportunity is available for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support K-12 students in a vibrant school setting located in Lancaster, CA. This position is focused on providing comprehensive speech-language services to a caseload of approximately 55 students, with an emphasis on both in-person and potential virtual teletherapy options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy services to K-12 students
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school policies and procedures
- Utilize teletherapy techniques as needed to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license with CCC-SLP certification
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Skilled in both direct in-person therapy and teletherapy modalities
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a caseload of about 55 students effectively
Position Details:
- Location: Lancaster, CA
- Setting: Primarily in-person; virtual teletherapy may be considered if positions remain unfilled
- Hours: Approximately 7:50 a.m.–2:45 p.m., about 33 hours per week
- Contract duration: Non-school year (NSY)
- Openings: 3 full-time positions
- Start date: Varies, with an immediate need to onboard at least one clinician this semester
